How to reach the International Relations Office

By car

To reach Brescia by car, you should take the A 4 Milano-Venezia Motorway.

  • Brescia Ovest Exit

This exit is more convenient for those coming from Milan. On leaving the motorway, take the Tangenziale Ovest (West Bypass),then join the Tangenziale Nord (North Bypass) and leave it at Ponte Mella -Via Milano. Drive along Via Milano all the way to Piazza Garibaldi, then turn right into Via Fratelli Ugoni. At the first turning, keep slightly to the middle of the road and enter Via Cassala, where you can leave your car at the “Parcheggio ex-ATB” car-park. From here a small bus “Bussola” will take you to the centre city. Get off in Via San Faustino.

  • Brescia Centro Exit

This is more convenient for those coming from Verona. On leaving the motorway, the Faculty can be reached by two routes:

Tangenziale Sud (South Bypass)
The bypass allows you to reach the University by a longer route that avoids busy streets, with a lot of traffic.
On leaving the motorway, a series of signposts will direct you to the Tangenziale (Bypass). The direction you need is ValTrompia, Milano or Bergamo (be careful not to take the nearby road to Lago di Garda, which would lead you back to startagain). Once on the bypass, follow it to the exit for the Tangenziale Ovest (West Bypass) or Val Trompia. At this point, take the Tangenziale Ovest, then join the Tangenziale Nord (North Bypass) and follow the instructions printed above for Brescia ovest.

Throught the center of town
The town route is slightly more complex but shorter. On leaving the motorway, turn left. After 300 metres or so, at the first set of traffic lights (on the left you will notice a large shopping centre with the ESSELUNGA hypermarket) turn right into Viale Duca degli Abruzzi. Follow the road to the roundabout at the end and turn left into Via Cadorna. At the traffic lights after the underpass, turn right into Via Duca d’Aosta. After 500 metres or so there is another set of traffic lights; turn left here into Via Mantova. Follow the road to the end to the first set of traffic lights. When you reach the crossing with Piazza Arnaldo (marked by a large monument on the left), park your car near by and take a bus “Bussola” shuttle bus to the city centre. Get off in Via San Faustino.
