Curriculum vitae

She has studied Economics at the University of Genova (Italy) and the at the University of York (U.K.) where she was awarded a Master of Science and a D.Phil. in Economics. She has been Research Fellow at IRISS (Institute for Research In Social Science) at the University of York and at SUBSL (University of Salford – U.K.)
She became assistant professor at the University of Genova (Italy) in 1992; she has a chair in Public Economics at the University of Brescia since 2000.
She is a member of Societą Italiana degli Economisti Pubblici (SIEP), the Society for Italian, British and International Health Economists (AIES HESG IHEA).

She is referee for international journals such as: Economic Journal, Public Choice, Journal of Health Economics, Health Economics, Economics of Governance, Applied Economics and International Review of Applied Economics.
