Method
This can be obtained by the description of some mechatronics devices for rehabilitation. After a theoretical presentation, some experimental tests on actual devices will be executed.
Contacts with device producers and designers
Besides, some contacts with companies producing these kinds of objects will be taken.
Aim
According to the availability of the devices, a:
I ) rehabilitation device for the hand;
II) rehabilitation device for the wrist;
III) rehabilitation device for the knee
will be presented, studied and possibly tested.
The 16 hours of frontal lessons will be possibly divided into 2 hours modules with the following subjects:
1. Structure of a linkage mechanism (2 hours)
2. Structure of a mechatronic system (2 hours)
3. Functional aspects of an hand rehabilitation system I (2 hours)
4. Functional aspects of an hand rehabilitation system II (2 hours)
5. Functional aspects of a rehabilitation system for the wrist I (2 hours)
6. Functional aspects of a rehabilitation system for the wrist II (2 hours)
7. Functional aspects of a rehabilitation system for the knee I (2 hours)
8. Functional aspects of a rehabilitation system for the knee II (2 hours)
