The workshop will provide an overview of the latest techniques and models for analyzing ordinal variables derived from questionnaires. Led by Professor Domenico Piccolo, a renowned expert in the field and creator of the CUB class of models, the workshop will feature presentations by distinguished speakers. Professor Julien Jacques from the University of Lyon will discuss model-based clustering for longitudinal ordinal data, while Professor Rosaria Simone from the University of Naples Federico II will present tree-based models for ordinal data within a model-based framework based on the CUB model. Matteo Ventura, a PhD student from the AEM program at the University of Brescia, will share his research on comparing CUB-class models with a case study focused on the evaluation of the experience of museum visitors in Brescia.
