On September 24–25, 2025, our university welcomed Prof. Teik C. Lim, President of the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT, USA).
On September 24, Prof. Teik C. Lim visited the engineering facilities and laboratories, accompanied by Prof. Lucio Enrico Zavanella, Prof. Antonio Visioli, Prof. Paola Serena Ginestra and Prof. Simone Zanoni.
It is worth noting that in recent years, four Master’s students in Management Engineering, and this year one Master’s student in Mechanical Engineering, have carried out their thesis work at NJIT under the supervision of Prof. Simone Zanoni and Prof. Sanchoy Das (NJIT).
On September 25, a meeting took place in the Salone Apollo with the participation of Prof. Teik C. Lim, Prof. Roberto Ranzi, Vice Rector for International Affairs of the University of Brescia, and Prof. Simone Zanoni. The discussions focused on potential collaboration between the two universities and included a review of a draft of the Double Degree agreement in Management Engineering, which is presently in an advanced stage of development.
