CIDD Summer Programs 2024 -Haaga-Helia Summer School

Discover Helsinki’s famously vibrant Metropolitan Area in the summer of 2024 while enrolled at the Summer School of Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences.

Combining inspiring lectures with a hospitality and business angle, and activity-packed excursion programme, you’ll be able to connect with global peers and embrace transformative learning in the intensive courses lasting 1 week, either 5–9 or 12–16 August 2024.

One week’s course is equivalent of 2 ECTS.

Both week’s course content is the same.

Registration for Summer School will be open until 24th of March.

In classrooms on the modern campus in Helsinki, you’ll expand your knowledge on the hottest themes of the moment. With the carefully selected visits to the most famous sites, you’ll gain extra knowledge on the themes you’ll also study in the classrooms.

University of Strathclyde Summer programs - Forensic Analytical Chemistry

Summer Laboratory Course in Forensic Analytical Chemistry

28th July- 3rd August 2024 Glasgow- Scotland

Take the next step in your forensic education with an intensive course on analytical chemistry

During this week-long course, you will take a hands-on approach to learn the proper use of analytical instrumentation as it applies to forensic chemistry.

You will develop the skills necessary to properly handle unknown substances, perform routine instrument maintenance for daily laboratory work, develop a step-wise analysis approach, and analyse forensic evidence.

You should have an interest in forensics and the laboratory environment.

No previous or specialized forensic training is necessary; however, a working knowledge of basic chemistry will be beneficial.

UTRECHT SUMMER SCHOOL 2024 - BUSINESS STUDIES

The Utrecht Summer School, founded in 1986, is the largest academic summer programme in the Netherlands, and is one of the biggest summer schools in Europe. It is characterized by its strong academic courses covering a wide range of subjects. The Utrecht Summer School is a partnership of Utrecht University, HU University of Applied Sciences and HKU University of the Arts. These institutions of higher education offer high quality, fully accredited summer courses on bachelor, master and PhD level.

Summer University on Federalism, Decentralisation and Conflict Resolution 2024

The next Summer University of Federalism, Decentralisation and Conflict Resolution will be held from Monday August 12 to Friday August 30, 2024.

The International Research and Consulting Center at the Institute of Federalism and the Chair for Constitutional and Administrative Law at the University of Fribourg offer a three-week course on Federalism, Decentralisation and Conflict Resolution.

The course aims to provide a series of lectures, held by the Institute’s staff and renowned guest lecturers, covering interdisciplinary theoretical perspectives and analyses of specific case studiesfrom all over the world.

The topics covered include:

JLU Virtual International Programme (VIP) - Summer Semester

Virtual International Programme (VIP) is a permanent offer of Justus Liebig University Giessen (JLU) cooperation activities and addresses international students interested in a virtual exchange experience to complement their studies in their home countries.

For participating in the programme, students from our partner universities do not pay any registration, enrolment or credit fees to JLU. Students can apply directly online, we do not ask for official nominations beforehand.

International students get to choose one or more seminars and lectures from a varied study catalogue taught completely online.

This offer includes over 40 online courses from 10 faculties at JLU at undergraduate and graduate level, held in various languages. As the offer is part of the regular JLU curriculum, enrolled international students will benefit from an international learning environment.

In addition to the specialized courses, our VIP offers interdisciplinary online courses and exclusive places in 3 online German language courses for beginners. Upon successful completion of the virtual exchange semester, international students will receive a Transcript of Records with credit points from JLU. Participation in the Virtual International Programme at JLU is free of charge for students from our partner universities.

Students are able to apply for the programme up to February 29th, 2024.
