The CEnT-S (CISIA English Test-Sciences) is required for admission to the open-access economics degree course in Business and Economics* (taught in English) - L-18 Class of degrees in Economics and Business Management Sciences.
The CEnT-S consists of 5 sections, for a total of 55 questions:
- Mathematics: 15 questions (30 minutes)
- Reasoning on texts and data: 15 questions (30 minutes)
- Biology: 10 questions (20 minutes)
- Chemistry: 10 questions (20 minutes)
- Physics: 5 questions (10 minutes).
Duration: 110 minutes
To enroll, you must complete the section “Mathematics” of the CEnT-S.
You may also complete the section “Reasoning on texts and data”, but the result of this section will not be taken into consideration for enrolment purposes. The “Biology", “Chemistry", and “Physics" sections must NOT be completed. The assignment of the Additional Learning Requirements in Mathematics will be based on the score obtained in the “Mathematics” section of the test.
All students can enroll.
OFA MATHEMATICS ATTRIBUTION
Those who do not take or pass the CEnT-S can enroll with the assignment of Additional Educational Obligations (OFA) of maths.
To succede the CEnT-S you must achieve a normalised score equal to or higher than 11 points in the Mathematics section.
Prepare for the CEnT-S
You can find the knowledge required for the CEnT-S in the "CEnT-S structure and syllabus" section on the CISIA website.
To be competent in the CEnT-S, you can use the simulations in the exercises area of the CISIA website or access the MOOCs (free online teaching tools) offered by CISIA.
