As a UniBs student, what study course do you attend? How did you come across the University of Brescia and why did you decide to enroll specifically here?
I am Invest your talent in Italy, IYT, scholarship student pursuing my master’s
degree in management curriculum International Business at the University of Brescia. I came across the university of Brescia when I was looking for masters degree courses as part of the IYT program. Then I found the course “International Business” which I was looking for and had interest in before when I thought about doing my masters degree.
I decided to enroll myself at UNIBS because it provides a high quality education by well fit professors and facilities that are provided by the university for students such as accommodation service, the cafeteria services and exchange programs. It is also the fact that Brescia is a cultural and art, historic city and furthermore as it is located in the epicenter of the industrial and manufacturing heart of the country.
UniBs, in collaboration with the University of Montana, is currently hosting the Summer School in “International and Cross-cultural Communication in Business and Economics”: what motivated you to apply?
The fact that we live in a very diverse world and in an era of globalization makes international and cross-cultural communication very important. Secondly, the fact that this summer school also includes company visits and cultural visits motivated me to know more about the practical application of the theoretical knowledge that we gain from our courses and see the real world challenges and solution practices. And additionally, to share ideas, experience and work with the students and professors of university of Montana is also a big plus in this program.
Can you explain how the Summer School focus on international and cross-cultural communication aligns with your career goals?
I am studying International business and This topic also resonates with our course on international business, where cross-cultural communication plays a huge role for the success of firms within their country and when they consider internationalizing the market and selling their product and services across borders.
How do you think the practical exercises and experiential activities proposed by the University of Montana professors will benefit your learning?
The University of Montana, as a university from the US, will provide us with
theoretical concepts and practical experiences that are practiced in the Us, and will help us to see the US perspective of doing business and the importance of cross-cultural communication in business. I also expect to get different business and personal experience from the students and the professors of the University of Montana in this two week summer school.
What specific topics covered in the summer school are you most interested inand why?
The company visits are the ones that I am waiting for as I expect to learn more about the practical business experience and how culture and art are integrated with business to generate revenues.
