Fondazione UNIBS is the University Foundation of the Università degli Studi di Brescia.
It was created through the merger of the Fondazione E.U.L.O.-Università di Brescia and the Fondazione Milziade Tirandi. The Foundation aims to carry forward, enhance, and modernize the legacy of both the Consorzio Ente Universitario Lombardia Orientale (later Fondazione E.U.L.O.), which contributed to the founding of the University of Brescia, and the Milziade Tirandi University Foundation, which first envisioned the creation of a university course in economics in Brescia, with a focus on international relations, while also promoting knowledge among younger generations.
The Founders of the Foundation are: Università degli Studi di Brescia, Comune di Brescia, Provincia di Brescia, and Camera di Commercio Industria Artigianato e Agricoltura di Brescia..
The Foundation’s mission is to raise funds and contributions to support the University using these resources to foster the development of education and scientific research, support teaching, promote access to higher education, research and innovation
