The University of Brescia periodically collects student feedback on individual teaching activities through an online questionnaire, based on the ANVUR model and administered via the CINECA ESSE3 platform.
The primary aim of the survey is to gather and make available to academic staff and the bodies responsible for monitoring Degree Programmes the views of students, so that these may be analysed within the framework of the University's Quality Assurance system.
From the 2022/23 Academic Year onwards, the survey results have been made publicly available at the level of individual teaching units, with the exception that the member of staff responsible for the unit may choose to restrict their visibility.

The University conducts an annual survey of the entire student body, distinguishing between first-year students and students in subsequent years.
The survey, which is designed to assess the level of satisfaction with the overall organisation of Degree Programmes, has been conducted since 2017. It was introduced to monitor aspects not covered by the surveys relating to individual modules, thereby contributing to a broader understanding of the overall learning experience.
The questionnaire is administered online through the ESSE3 portal and can be accessed by students via their personal area. It consists of four questions concerning:
- the acceptability of the study workload;
- the organisation of teaching activities (timetabling, delivery arrangements and distribution of learning activities);
- the suitability of the teaching timetable (for students attending classes);
- overall satisfaction with the teaching provided.
The questionnaire also includes a question on students’ level of awareness of the University's Quality Assurance System, with the aim of assessing how well informed the student body is about quality assurance processes.

The University of Brescia conducts an annual survey to monitor levels of satisfaction with the administrative services provided to the student body, professional services and administrative staff (technical and administrative staff), and academic staff.
The survey is carried out within the framework of the Good Practice (GP) project, coordinated by the Politecnico di Milano. The University rejoined the initiative in the 2020/21 Academic Year for the survey addressed to students, and from the 2021 calendar year for the surveys addressed to professional services and administrative staff and academic staff.
The survey is structured around three separate questionnaires, targeted at:
- first-year students and students in subsequent years;
- professional services and administrative staff;
- academic staff.
The questionnaire addressed to students is administered online through the ESSE3 portal and refers to the relevant academic year.
The questionnaires addressed to professional services and administrative staff and academic staff are administered online through LimeSurvey and refer to the relevant calendar year.
The results of the various surveys are available below.
From the 2022/23 Academic Year onwards, the University has conducted an annual survey of first-year and second-year doctoral candidates, with the aim of gathering their views on the organisation of their Doctoral Programme.
The survey focuses in particular on:
- the quality of training and development activities;
- the support provided in terms of facilities and resources;
- any study or research experiences undertaken abroad and/or at other institutions;
- overall satisfaction with the programme.
The questionnaire, which follows the ANVUR model, is administered online at the end of the first and second years of study. Doctoral candidates access the survey through the ESSE3 portal, which redirects them to AlmaLaurea’s survey platform.
From the 2023/24 Academic Year onwards, the survey results have been made publicly available and can be consulted through the SISValDidat platform. For the 2022/23 Academic Year only, which marked the launch of the survey, the results are available upon authentication using University credentials.

The University of Brescia takes part in the annual surveys on the employment outcomes of graduates and doctoral graduates, with the aim of monitoring their entry into the labour market and the development of their career pathways over time.
The surveys are conducted by the AlmaLaurea Inter-University Consortium, which collects and analyses data from participating universities using a common methodology, providing insights down to the level of individual Degree Programmes.
The questionnaire is administered online through the AlmaLaurea platform to graduates one, three and five years after the award of their degree, and to doctoral graduates one and three years after the award of their doctoral qualification.
The questionnaires collect information on:
- employment status;
- the characteristics of the work activity undertaken;
- the alignment between the education received and the work performed;
- contractual and economic conditions of employment.
The survey results are made available confidentially to universities by April each year. Public dissemination of the results, together with the relevant methodological notes, takes place on the official AlmaLaurea website from June onwards.

The University of Brescia participates in annual surveys of graduates and doctoral graduates, aimed at assessing the perceived quality of their educational experience and their professional prospects.
The surveys are conducted by the AlmaLaurea Inter-University Consortium, which collects and analyses data from participating universities using a common methodology, providing insights down to the level of individual Degree Programmes.
The questionnaire is completed online and can be accessed through the student's personal area on ESSE3, which provides direct access to the AlmaLaurea platform.
It is administered to graduating students and doctoral candidates when they submit their application for the award of their qualification and includes only those who obtain their qualification during the relevant calendar year.
The questionnaires collect information on:
- students’ profile and academic pathway, including study conditions and any employment undertaken during their studies;
- the quality of teaching, services, and facilities provided by the University;
- overall satisfaction and future aspirations;
- research activities and publications (for doctoral graduates).
Since 2023, the questionnaire relating to the profile of doctoral graduates has been aligned with the ANVUR model.
The survey results are made available confidentially to universities by April each year. Public dissemination of the results, together with the relevant methodological notes, takes place on the official AlmaLaurea website from June onwards.

The University of Brescia collects feedback from students and host organisations and companies regarding curricular and extracurricular internships and work placements, with the aim of monitoring their quality and their educational and professional effectiveness.
The survey is based on structured questionnaires, tailored to the different categories of respondents, and is designed to gather consistent evaluations of the organisational, educational and workplace integration aspects of internship and placement experiences.
The questionnaires are administered online by AlmaLaurea at the end of the internship or placement period. They are addressed to students who have undertaken an internship or placement activity, as well as to employees of host organisations and companies who act as the student’s workplace supervisor, during the reference year.
AlmaLaurea provides the University with dedicated reporting through its portal. The reports are confidential, accessible exclusively through authenticated access, and offer a level of detail down to individual Degree Programmes. Data are updated daily, with updates continuing until 31 May each year in order to ensure data stability.
The University also makes available aggregated reports by disciplinary area, differentiated according to the category of respondent.

The University of Brescia annually collects the opinions of students enrolled in the Single-Cycle Master’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery who are engaged in professional training activities (AFP – internships). The survey, active since the 2021/22 Academic Year, is administered online via ESSE3, and the results are published through the SisValDidat platform.
Starting from the 2024/25 Academic Year, the questionnaire structure has been updated to comply with the ANVUR model, while retaining some additional questions that meet the specific needs of the Degree Program and the unique characteristics of professional internships. In the same year, the survey results became public and freely accessible, enhancing the level of transparency of the information provided.
