Every year, UNIBS stands out in the most important international university rankings for its dynamism and competitiveness, both in terms of teaching and research quality, as well as its commitment to sustainability. 

On January 19, 2024, the University Ranking Commission was established. This Commission, leveraging the skills of its members and involved offices, carries out activities aimed at promoting the university in the main international rankings, also collaborating with external service providers when necessary.

NATIONAL RANKINGS

CENSIS (2024/25): in the CENSIS ranking of medium-sized public universities (10,000 to 20,000 students), the University of Brescia (UNIBS) ranks 8th out of 17 universities, securing first place for employability (with a score of 107 out of 110) and second place for communication and digital services (with a score of 107 out of 110).

ALMALAUREA: the university stands out for its excellent employability results. More than 82% of graduates from one-cycle Master's programs find a job within one year of graduation; this percentage exceeds 91% for graduates from two-year Master's programs (source: XXVI Almalaurea Survey).

INTERNATIONAL RANKINGS

THE IMPACT RANKING (2024): UNIBS is ranked in the range of 301-400 out of more than 2,100 participating universities from 125 different countries.
The Impact Ranking evaluates universities based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The position achieved in the 2024 edition confirms UNIBS' focus on sustainability and its commitment to growth that prioritizes social, environmental and economic well-being.

THE WORLD UNIVERSITY RANKINGS (2025) and BY SUBJECT (2025): in the latest edition of the ranking, published in October 2024, UNIBS is ranked in the 351-400 range among over 2,000 universities from 115 countries.
In the subject rankings, THE places our university's "Medical and Health" subject in the 201-250 range.

QS WORLD UNIVERSITY RANKINGS (2025), BY FACULTY (2025) and SUSTAINABILITY (2025):
in the rankings published in June 2024, the University is placed in the 691-700 range among more than 1,500 participating universities from 105 countries.
In the subject ranking, QS places the University's subject "Medicine" in the range of 551-600.
The QS Sustainability Ranking evaluates the social and environmental impact of universities both as centers of education and research and as employers. In the first edition, published in December 2024, UNIBS achieved an overall score of 65.2, ranking 427 out of more than 1,500 participating institutions.

ACADEMIC RANKING OF WORLD UNIVERSITIES (2024): in the latest ARWU ranking, the University of Brescia is placed in the 601-700 range.
In the subject rankings, the University achieves significant results in the areas of Clinical Medicine (151-200), Human Biological Sciences (201-300), Medical Technology (201-300), Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences (201-300), and Mechanical Engineering (301-400).
