Each year, UNIBS stands out in the most important national and international university rankings for its dynamism and competitiveness, both in terms of teaching and research quality and its commitment to sustainability. 

On January 19, 2024, the University Ranking Commission was established. Drawing on the expertise of its members and the support of the relevant administrative offices, the committee carries out activities aimed at promoting the University within main international rankings, also in collaboration with external service providers.

NATIONAL RANKINGS

CENSIS (2025/26): in the CENSIS ranking of medium-sized Italian public universities (10,000 to 20,000 students), UNIBS ranks 8th out of 17 universities, placing second for employability (score 104/110) and third for student services (score 88/100).

ALMALAUREA (27th Survey – 2025 Report): the University stands out particularly for its excellent results in terms of employability. More than 77% of single-cycle master’s graduates find employment within one year of graduation; this percentage rises to over 92% for graduates of two-year master’s programmes.

INTERNATIONAL RANKINGS

THE IMPACT RANKING (2025): UNIBS ranks in the 401–600 band among more than 2,500 participating universities from 130 different countries. The ranking assesses universities’ performance in relation to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The result achieved in the 2025 edition confirms UNIBS’s commitment to sustainability and to a model of growth that promotes social, environmental, and economic well-being.

THE WORLD UNIVERSITY RANKINGS (2026) and BY SUBJECT (2026): in the latest edition of the ranking, published in October 2025, UNIBS is placed in the 351–400 band out of more than 2,191 universities classified from 115 countries.
In the subject-specific ranking, the “Medical and Health” area is positioned in the 201–250 band, acknowledging the growing impact of the University’s academic and research activities.

QS WORLD UNIVERSITY RANKINGS (2026), BY SUBJECT (2025) and SUSTAINABILITY (2026): in the ranking published in June 2025, the University is placed 650th among more than 1,500 participating universities from 100 countries. 
With regard to the QS Sustainability Rankings, which assess the social and environmental impact of universities both as centres of teaching and research and as employers, UNIBS achieved an overall score of 67.9, ranking 524th among more than 2,000 participating institutions.

ACADEMIC RANKING OF WORLD UNIVERSITIES (2025): ARWU annually evaluates the performance of more than 2,500 universities worldwide, publishing only the ranking of the top 1,000. In this context, in the 2025 edition the University of Brescia is placed in the 601–700 band.
In the subject rankings, the University achieves significant results in the following areas:
- Medical Technology: 151–200 band
- Clinical Medicine: 201–300 band
- Management: 301–400 band
