Civic engagement

Through its social engagement activities, UniBS transfers scientific, technological, and cultural knowledge to the community in order to promote the region’s economic and social development.

UniBS’s social engagement has two main components: on the one hand, activities aimed at the economic exploitation of knowledge for productive purposes; on the other hand, activities that create social and cultural impact by providing educational, training, informational, outreach, and consulting services that contribute to improving the community’s quality of life.
