UNITA Dissertation Prize European Citizenship

As part of the UNITA Alliance - Universitas Montium, the University of Brescia participated in the call to award students who have written a Bachelor’s dissertation or a Master's thesis on the topic of "European Citizenship."

For the University of Brescia, the institution had the pleasure of awarding the prize to Dr. Francesca Cadei, who graduated in Law with the thesis "The Evolution of the Right to Be Forgotten in the Context of the European Union and the Italian Legal System. From the 'Right to the Secret of Dishonor' to the Right to Oncological Forgetfulness."

The thesis aims to reconstruct the evolution of the right to be forgotten through the analysis of doctrine and case law in Italy, France, and the European Union, in order to examine the foundations of the right to be forgotten in the constitutional charters of France and Italy, and to understand how the Court of Justice of the European Union has influenced the development of the right to be forgotten as a fundamental right of the European Union.
