The Università di Brescia (STEM in Genere project) and the Don Bosco Institute in Brescia (third year of the Liceo Scientifico), with the support of ELCOM and INTRED, and under the patronage of the Municipality of Concesio, are organising the ‘MATH4FUN’ event to celebrate International Mathematics Day.
The event will take place on Saturday 14 March at BiCO, the Municipal Library of Concesio (in Via Mattei n. 99 in Concesio), from 3.14 p.m. to 6.00 p.m., offering a series of free activities open to the public and suitable for different age groups from 6 years upwards. The afternoon will open with institutional greetings from the President of the Gender Commission of the Università di Brescia, Prof. Marika Vezzoli, the Director of the Salesian Institute Don Bosco, Don Damiano Galbusera, and the Councillor of the Municipality of Concesio, Bettina Piccioli. This will be followed by Prof. Anita Pasotti of the Università di Brescia, who will briefly illustrate the school-work training project, which began in October 2025 and led to the creation of this event. The entire afternoon will then be managed by the boys and girls of the third year class.
