On 29–30 June, a delegation from the Università di Brescia visited the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, one of the institutions identified by UniBs as a strategic partner for developing long-term collaboration in education, research and international mobility.
The delegation, composed of Prof. Roberto Ranzi, Vice Rector for International Affairs, Prof. Corrado Paganelli, Rector’s Delegate for Relations with European Institutions, ERASMUS programme, and the Right to Education Policies, Prof. Luca Masera, Coordinator of the PhD Programme in Rights, Person, Innovation and Market, and Prof. Mario Nicoliello from the Department of Economics and Management, was welcomed by Prof. Iakovos Michailidis, Vice Rector for International Relations, Outreach, Lifelong Learning and Student Care.
The visit provided an opportunity to explore several areas of cooperation between the two universities. The two institutions also exchanged views on the changing profile of university students and on the skills required by future professionals. Particular attention was devoted to identifying innovative approaches to support graduates in their transition to professional careers and leadership roles.
The mission to Thessaloniki concludes a series of institutional visits carried out by the Università di Brescia to selected strategic European partner universities, including the Technical University of Darmstadt and Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. These initiatives reflect the University’s commitment to strengthening its international network and creating new opportunities for academic and scientific collaboration across Europe.
