PhD Programmes: to enrol in the years following the first one

At the end of each Programme year, PhD students shall submit to their PhD Board of Professors a report on the research activity undertaken. Except those PhD students who benefiting from intermitting study periods. Once the PhD Board of Professors proceeds in admitting or not admitting the PhD students to the following academic year (e.g. to the second year or to the third), the U.O.C. Dottorati will register their admission on Esse3 IT system.

Once the U.O.C. Dottorati registers the enrolment to the following year, PhD students both benefitting from a grant and NOT benefitting from a grant shall, download the IUV contribution number from own Esse3 personal profile and proceed in paying the yearly contribution using the PAGO PA system.

PhD students who, in the past, have benefitted of intermitting study periods (e.g. due maternity leave, illness, etc.) will be admitted to the following academic year ONLY after having recovered the intermittence period, according to the PhD Board of Professors' yearly Report.

Those PhD students who started late in the academic year (e.g. non-Italians who arrived after 01 November) will start later and will be enrolled the following academic year after they have completed their regular PhD yearly programme and be admitted by the respective PhD course
Board of Professors.
