University Sustainability Plan and Report

The main tool for coordinating and implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN 2030 Agenda for the University of Brescia. Purpose of the Plan is to promote the application of the principle of sustainability in the processes, functions and activities of the University, starting from teaching and research. As a priority, the University plans and implements actions aimed at harmonising the relationship between spaces, the environment and people and encouraging increasingly responsible lifestyles, in order to reduce the University's ecological footprint and improve the quality of life in its spaces.

At the same time, the University promotes social cohesion and inclusion, the reduction of inequalities, the cultural growth and sustainable economic progress of society, through a systematic dialogue with its territory,

The sustainable development plan is only available in Italian.

Università degli Studi di Brescia draws up its Sustainability Report applying the GRI Standards in their latest version.
The Report is:

1. a reporting tool for Unibs commitment to sustainable development and its accountability to stakeholders;
2. a document reporting on efforts and results related to the objectives of the University Plan for Sustainable Development;
3. an opportunity for communication and stakeholders involvement.

The sustainability reports are only available in Italian.
