The WHP Programme - “Workplace Health Promotion"
The WHP Programme, Workplace Health Promotion, primarily aims to implement effective, structured measures that promote organisational change in workplaces, making them health-promoting environments and encouraging healthy choices and lifestyles.
Università degli Studi di Brescia has participated in the WHP Programme since 2022 and is part of a network of organisations known as the WHP Network (Workplaces Promoting Health).
The promotion of informed, healthy lifestyles in the workplace, together with the good practices implemented to support the organisational change envisaged by the WHP Programme, is aimed at all University employees, including technical and administrative staff, teaching staff and researchers.
The WHP Programme covers four areas of action:
WHP working group
The University has established a WHP Working Group to plan activities on an annual basis. The group comprises representatives of the following roles and offices:
- Director General
- Sustainable Development Unit
- Occupational Physician
- Head of the Prevention and Protection Service (RSPP)
- Head of the Human Resources Division
- University Mobility Manager
- Workers’ Health and Safety Representative (RLS)
- Representative of the Unitary Workplace Union Structure (RSU)
