Research Commission

The Research Committee of the Department of Economics and Management has been established with the purpose of promoting, supporting, and enhancing the scientific activities of its affiliated members. In particular, it serves as a coordinating body and strategic driver with the following objectives:

  1. Fostering the creation and consolidation of scientific networks
    The Committee is committed to promoting the establishment of research networks in order to encourage multidisciplinary collaborations, strengthen synergies with academic institutions and research centers at both the national and international levels, and increase the visibility and impact of the Department’s research activities.
  2. Supporting faculty members in their research activities
  3. Promoting the research activities of early-career researchers

The Research Committee allocates local research funds according to criteria defined and agreed upon at the departmental level. It also provides financial support for inviting internationally renowned scholars and for organizing national and international workshops and conferences.

Furthermore, the Research Committee promotes the participation of research fellows, research contract holders, recipients of research appointments, and postdoctoral researchers in international conferences.
