In addition to passing the exams, attendance of at least 70% of the lectures is required for the issuance of the final certificate or pass certificate for the single modules.
The professors record the attendance on registers and decide on the basis of the absences whether to admit students to the final examination of their courses.
Absences due to illness or force majeure (appointments with the Questura for residence permit procedures, bureaucratic or academic appointments that cannot be postponed, serious personal problems) are not counted in the final percentage, provided they are justified in advance or within 24 hours, by written notification to the International Student Admissions Office.
