Advanced Training Course in Implantology, A.Y. 2024/2025

The Course aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the scientific foundations and operative phases of the main therapeutic and rehabilitative options available for partially or completely edentulous patients or patients with terminal dentition.

Based on the most recent scientific literature on the subject, the Course will present indications and contraindications, possibilities and limitations, operative techniques and procedural steps of the various therapeutic approaches described in the literature for the treatment of these patients, together with reconstructive techniques of the jaws involving both hard tissues (maxillary sinus lift, block grafts, Guided Bone Regeneration, etc.) and soft tissues.

Admission to the Course requires mandatory qualification to practise as a dentist in Italy.

The academic qualifications required for admission are a Specialist/Master’s Degree in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics or a Degree in Medicine and Surgery with a Specialisation in Odontostomatology.

The Course has a duration of 125 hours of lectures and 4 hours of laboratory activities, for a total of 5 university credits (CFU).

The activities will begin on 6 February 2025 and will end on 8 November 2025.

Attendance is compulsory and requires participation in at least 75% of the total scheduled hours.

The maximum number of available places for the Course is 20, while the minimum number required for the Course to be activated is 10 participants.

Location: teaching activities and clinical training will take place at the Dental Clinic of the Spedali Civili Hospital of Brescia.
