During the summer months, the Bordeaux campus hosts several high-quality, multidisciplinary, international summer schools, covering a broad range of subjects and open to a wide audience.
These research oriented courses are also a unique opportunity to interact and learn from a diverse range of cultures, both in and out of lectures!
Taking place throughout June and July 2024, the programme offers a range of high-quality, international summer schools for graduate and doctoral students as well as young researchers. Topics cover a variety of disciplines, ranging from African studies to cardiology to advanced materials to gender equality to neuroscience and more!
These courses are highly selective and target international talents. Course content offers an enriching curricular experience with, depending on the discipline, a mixture of theoretical and practical training that demands a notable level of expertise and knowledge. Summer Laboratory Course in Forensic Analytical Chemistry

Take the next step in your forensic education with an intensive course on analytical chemistry
During this week-long course, you will take a hands-on approach to learn the proper use of analytical instrumentation as it applies to forensic chemistry.
You will develop the skills necessary to properly handle unknown substances, perform routine instrument maintenance for daily laboratory work, develop a step-wise analysis approach, and analyse forensic evidence.
You should have an interest in forensics and the laboratory environment.
No previous or specialized forensic training is necessary; however, a working knowledge of basic chemistry will be beneficial.
