On September 16, Stanford University published the update of the “World's Top 2% Scientists”, the prestigious ranking of researchers who stand out worldwide for their scientific authority. The number of professors and researchers from the University of Brescia included in the new edition of the ranking has risen to 70. The methodology and results are published in the Elsevier journal.
22 scientific areas and 174 subcategories were examined. The data were collected through Scopus, one of the most important databases for scientific publications.

Attached are the two updated rankings as of September 16, 2024, presented in alphabetical order and not by ranking: the first based on the entire career of the researchers and the second referring only to the year 2023.
