The Italy-France double degree program "Mechatronics and Robotic Systems" is developed by our university in collaboration with UPMC Sorbonne Universités, Paris.
It provides a student exchange for training in engineering topics related to the world of automation and is aimed at master's degrees.
On the Italian side, it is aimed at students in the master's degree program in Industrial Automation Engineering.
Italian and French students share two semesters of study (60 credits), one of which is spent at the University of Brescia (second semester of the first year) and one in Paris (first semester of the second year). Starting in 2026, students will be able to choose between two majors:
- Robotics
focused on both industrial robotics (traditional and collaborative) and service robotics (entertainment, domestic, etc.)
- Mechatronics
focused on the creation, simulation, and control of intelligent devices in industrial, domestic, or medical settings.
Upon completion of the program, and upon mutual recognition of their exams by both universities, students will earn both an Italian and a French master's degree.
The University of Paris's International Relations Department will assist participants with all practical matters (bureaucratic procedures, language courses, campus life, and integration into the city). Students will receive priority in the assignment of subsidized housing.
