Classrooms, common areas and the library
The Nursing degree program at the Mantua campus features:
- 3 classrooms
- 1 study room
- 1 multipurpose room
- 2 rooms for small-group exercises and labs
- A library
- A computer lab with 32 workstations
Teaching and Tutoring Processes
Professional Education Tutors, in collaboration with the Campus Director of Academic Activities, annually plan and coordinate professional training activities in alignment with the Degree Programme learning outcomes, the opportunities provided by clinical and professional settings, and organizational requirements. Their goal is to ensure meaningful learning pathways that enable students to achieve the competencies expected at each stage of their educational journey.
They also contribute to the development and implementation of the educational process through the design and delivery of skills laboratories and learning activities, working closely with Clinical Placement Assistants when appropriate. These initiatives are based on teaching strategies aimed at fostering cognitive, technical, behavioral, and interpersonal competencies.
Professional Education Tutors collaborate with their counterparts across other campuses to design, manage, and evaluate clinical education programs and learning experiences, promoting consistency, quality, and excellence in students’ clinical training.
Internships
The internship takes place in the clinical units, services, and outpatient clinics of the ASST Mantua departments at the hospitals in Mantua, Asola, Bozzolo, and Borgo Mantovano.
