Professional qualification exams are required in order to exercise some liberal professions and to be able to register in a professional order.

Dates and procedures for the 2026 State Examinations
The examination will consist of two written papers, a practical assessment and an oral examination.
The dates for the first written paper – which are the same nationwide – have been set for the Qualifying Examinations by Orders of the Ministry of Universities and Research Nos. 692 and 694 of 27 May 2026, and are as follows:
Engineers and Chartered Accountants:
- first session on 27 July 2026;
- second session on 16 November 2026.
Junior Engineers and Accounting Practitioners:
- first session on 31 July 2026;
- second session on 20 November 2026.
The dates for the supplementary tests for the statutory auditor qualification examination will be published as soon as they are available.
