Each year, UNIBS stands out in the most important national and international university rankings for its dynamism and competitiveness, both in terms of teaching and research quality and its commitment to sustainability.
On January 19, 2024, the University Ranking Commission was established. Drawing on the expertise of its members and the support of the relevant administrative offices, the committee carries out activities aimed at promoting the University within major international rankings, also in collaboration with external service providers.
NATIONAL RANKINGS
CENSIS (2024/25)
In the CENSIS ranking of medium-sized public universities (10,000 to 20,000 students), the University of Brescia (UNIBS) ranks 9th out of 18, placing:
- 2nd for employability (score: 104/110);
- 3rd for student services (score: 88/100).
ALMALAUREA
The university particularly excels in employability outcomes:
- over 77% of single-cycle master’s graduates find employment within one year of graduation;
- this figure rises to over 91% for two-year master’s graduates.
INTERNATIONAL RANKINGS
THE IMPACT RANKING (2025)
UNIBS ranks in the 401–600 band among over 2,500 institutions from 130 countries.
This ranking evaluates universities based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The 2025 result confirms UNIBS’s strong commitment to sustainability and its focus on promoting social, environmental, and economic well-being.
THE WORLD UNIVERSITY RANKINGS (2026) and BY SUBJECT (2025)
In the latest edition published in October 2025, UNIBS ranks in the 351–400 band among more than 2,191 universities from 115 countries.
In the subject-specific ranking, the Medical and Health Sciences area at UNIBS is placed in the 201–250 range.
QS WORLD UNIVERSITY RANKINGS (2026), BY FACULTY (2025) and SUSTAINABILITY (2025)
In the edition published in June 2025, UNIBS ranks 650th among more than 1,500 universities from 100 countries.
In the QS Sustainability Ranking, which assesses the social and environmental impact of universities as educational institutions, research centers, and employers, UNIBS scored 65.2, placing 427th among over 1,800 institutions.
ACADEMIC RANKING OF WORLD UNIVERSITIES (2025)
In the latest ARWU ranking, UNIBS is placed in the 601–700 band globally.
In subject-specific rankings, the University achieved notable results in:
