ACTIVITIES AND REGULATORY FRAMEWORK OF CIVIC ENGAGEMENT
By the term Civic Engagement, the University of Brescia – and, of course, the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering along with it – intends to encompass all those activities which, in regulatory terms, are identified by the term the University’s Third Mission. This term was coined to provide an appropriate framework for those activities that do not strictly fall within the scope of teaching or institutional research.
