Would you like to spend your time at university in an active, involved way, taking part in cultural initiatives complementary to university education but still having fun, sharing the spaces and your experiences with other students like you?

The answer is - the Collegio Universitario Luigi Lucchini. A Collegio di Merito (Residence for Outstanding Students) legally-recognised by the Ministry of Education, the University and Research, promoted and managed by the Fondazione Collegio Universitario of Brescia whose founders are the University of Brescia and the Fondazione Lucchini.

The Residence can host up to 54 students, who benefit from many services including:

• single and double rooms (with private bathroom, heating/cooling, mini-fridge, TV, cable internet and Wi-Fi, weekly cleaning of the room with a change of linen and sanitisation of the rooms);
• laundry with washing machines and driers, and ironing area;
• common kitchen, nearby university canteen or subsidised meals;
• gym;
• TV room/coffee bar;
• study rooms with computer and multi-purpose machines for prints and copies;
• reading room and library with internet positions;
• course room;
• bike-sharing;
• covered private garage;
• agreement with the neighbouring swimming pool at Mompiano; 
• medical-health consultancy service and assistance.

Students accepted in Collegio Lucchini attend the many annual offers of the educational and cultural project, aimed at strengthening talents and valorise the aspirations of students through:

• foreign language courses and workshops with mother-tongue teachers;
• interdisciplinary seminars;
• expressive workshops and laboratories;
• meetings with significant people in culture and the world of work;
• concerts, theatre and film club;
• orientation to work and company visits;
• recreational activities (sport and organised parties);
• study trips and guided tours;
• tutorship.

The Collegio is open to Italian and foreign students who:

• intend enrolling in the first year of a degree course at the University of Brescia and have a High School diploma or equivalent qualification with a mark of about 80/100;
• are already enrolled in courses at the University of Brescia (First or Second Cycle degree) and, at the time of the application, are on track with the academic curriculum and have an average of about 27 (students concerned can contact the General Administrative Office for any further information on the degree course attended).

Further, some places are reserved for Ph.D. students selected on the basis of the curriculum.
