The “Bruno and Anna Beccaria” Research Centre for the Study of Intensive Care in Paediatric Transplant Patients was established within the Department of Clinical and Experimental Sciences (DSCS), with its administrative headquarters located within the Department.
The Centre’s objectives are to conduct studies and promote research in the field of intensive care for children undergoing bone marrow transplantation.
To this end, the Centre aims to investigate new approaches to the prevention and treatment of severe complications arising from bone marrow transplantation in children, in the bone marrow transplant unit of the Paediatric Clinic at the University of Brescia.
