Approved Entity

Since 26 May 2022, the University of Brescia has been included in the list of Approved Entities by the MiC (Ministry of Culture) pursuant to Law 633/1941 and the Prime Ministerial Decree of 6th July 2020: https://biblioteche.cultura.gov.it/it/diritto-dautore/Focus-attivity/

The Approved Entities must be transmited to the MiC (Ministry of Culture) and DGBDA (Directorate General for Libraries and Copyright), to the Ministry of Health and to the Office for Policies in Favour of Persons with Disabilities the 15th March of every year the the year before's report about the obligations set forth in Article 71-bis, paragraphs 2-undecies and 2-duodecies of the LDA.

The University of Brescia may provide texts in accessible format to students with visual impairments or SLD who have presented the relevant documentation attesting to their particular condition, who are actually enrolled for that academic year, who have paid the relevant university fees and provided that the text requested is included in the syllabus of that specific course. The student must also fill in a deed in which he/she undertakes not to divulge the text received to third parties.

The first condition is that the digital text is available at the publishing house.
