The AULA CAD,"Departmental Classroom for Digital Design", houses 12 computer workstations with software dedicated to the digital design of architectural, building and/or infrastructural artefacts realised not as a simple representation of an object, but rather as characteristic of an integrated cognitive, simulation and prototyping system, peculiarities of contemporary design practice.
The room also includes 2 printing stations for large formats, which can be used through the University’s integrated printing system.
The space is dedicated to the study and design activities of the students enrolled in the DICATAM degree courses and especially those enrolled in the degree courses in Building Engineering-Architecture and Civil andEnvironmental Engineering.
In September 2022, the classroom was named after the "Fondazione Alessandra Bono Onlus (https://www.fondazionealessandrabono.it/ )
