May I enrol in another programme at the same time?

It depends on the type of programme.

You may not simultaneously enrol in and attend:
• the specific training course in General Practice;
• another university Specialist School in the healthcare area;
• a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or single-cycle degree programme.

Subject to the conditions established by current legislation, simultaneous enrolment in a university master’s programme or PhD programme is permitted.

Because medical specialist training requires compulsory attendance, the other programme must not require compulsory attendance, unless attendance is compulsory only for laboratory or placement activities.

For a PhD, compatibility must be confirmed by the School Council and the PhD Board; for a university master’s programme, it is assessed by the respective collegiate bodies.

Simultaneous enrolment does not reduce specialist-training hours or obligations.

Before enrolling, open a ticket in the category dedicated to simultaneous enrolment and wait for the relevant office to complete its assessment.
