UNIBS MotorSport seconda classificata Aragon 2025

An important recognition for the University of Brescia: the GIVI UniBs MotoStudent team, led by Professor Marco Gadola of the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (DIMI), took second place in the world in the MotoStudent 2025 international competition, held at the MotorLand Aragón circuit (Spain). For the first time in the history of the team, founded in 2015, the Brescia-based team took to the podium in Aragon, achieving an extraordinary result: second in the world and first among Italian teams. The event, which involves universities from all over the world, challenges students to design and build a racing motorcycle similar to a PreMoto3. The 2025 edition introduced the new eFuel category, which makes the competition completely sustainable thanks to the use of renewable fuels.

The UniBs team, made up of sixty students organized into four divisions, designed and built the new BRX-254 prototype, an evolution of the previous BRX-253, with the contribution of numerous companies from Brescia. After successfully passing all static and dynamic tests, the team achieved remarkable results in various disciplines: first place in braking, third in gymkhana, fifth in acceleration, and second in top speed. Thanks to these performances, the GIVI UniBs MotoStudent Team ranked second in the MS2 category and second in the Overall classification, achieving the best result in its history.

This achievement is the culmination of two years of work, passion, and dedication on the part of the students, with the support of the University of Brescia and partner companies who believed in the project and contributed to its success.
