Seridò

Once again this year, the Università di Brescia is taking part in Seridò, Italy’s largest games festival, which is due to take place from Saturday 25 April at the Centro Fiera del Garda in Montichiari.

The initiative represents an important opportunity to bring together science communication and recreational activities, thanks to the coordination of STEM IN GENERE, the University’s project dedicated to promoting STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and strengthening gender balance in educational and professional pathways.

Within the exhibition space, the public will be able to enjoy an engaging and interactive experience, with workshops and demonstrations designed to introduce children and families to the world of science through play. Among the activities on offer:

  • programming BeeBots, the educational robot bees;
  • live observation of the life cycle of silkworms;
  • a challenge with a Rubik’s Cube-solving robot;
  • creative pixel art activities and logic puzzles.

The festival will take place on the following dates: 25–26 April, 1–3 May and 9–10 May 2026.
