The University of Brescia rises to the 351-400 position in the world among 2,092 ranked universities
In the 2025 edition of THE World University Rankings, the prestigious international ranking curated by the independent British magazine Times Higher Education, which evaluates the best universities in the world, the University of Brescia climbs to the 351-400 position out of a total of 2,092 universities. This marks a new significant international achievement, with the University of Brescia ranking 133rd worldwide in the category assessing the quality of scientific research. Particularly noteworthy is the indicator related to the impact of scientific citations, where the university achieved a score of 93.6. In the national ranking, the University of Brescia is placed 14th out of 55 Italian universities evaluated.

THE World University Rankings evaluates universities based on 18 performance indicators grouped into 5 main areas: Teaching, Research Environment, Research Quality, Industry, and International Outlook. Overall, compared to last year's edition, the score in the Teaching category increased by 10.3 points, by 4.2 points in the Research Environment category and by 11 points in the Industry category.
