Heritage

The library's print collection consists of approximately:

• 120,800 monographs;
• 30,700 volumes of journals, including 322 current subscribed titles.

The material is stored in:

• open-shelf areas freely accessible to users (Terenzio Maccabelli Room, formerly Sala del Camino, Sala dell'Ultima Cena, Periodicals Room);
• storage rooms accessible to authorized staff.

At the bottom of the page there is a detailed overview of the locations of the entire library collection, indicating for each section the type of material, location and how to request it.

In the Periodicals Room, current periodicals from 2006 onwards are available on open shelves.

Various types of electronic resources (databases, e-journals, e-books) are also available, and their number is constantly increasing. For more information, please see the Digital Library section.
