Research Centers

Research Centers are structures aimed at coordinating activities for the promotion, support, implementation, and dissemination of research on specialized topics. They are dedicated to the development of long-term research activities based on a strongly interdisciplinary approach, which may involve multiple research groups from different Departments.

Research Centers may be established at the University level, at the departmental or interdepartmental level, or as inter-university centers.

The regulations governing the establishment of Research Centers are set out in Article 25 of the University General Regulations.
