Università di Brescia encourages the creation, negotation, and defense of patents resulting from research conduced by its researchers.
A dedicated technology transfer office (UOC Innovation and Crowdfunding), supported by external professionals, assists inventors in conducting prior art searches for proposed patents, analyzing the potential of patentable ideas, and selecting the most appropriate countries for ectending filed patents.
Patent evaluation and guidance activities are carried out with the support of Università di Brescia's Patent and Spin-off Commission, the body responsable for reviewing patent proposals and defining strategies for protecting the University's intellectual property.
The Patents and Spin-offs Committee is composed of:
