The governing structures of the Department, under the leadership of the Director, ensure the functioning of all Research, Teaching, and Third Mission activities, in the interest of all stakeholders and the local area.
The management of the Department is based on quality standards and is subject to internal and external audit processes according to the AVA system.

The article 4 of the Department Regulation defines the leadership and governance of the Department as the Head fo department, the Department Council, and the Executive Committee.
