Agreement: between CRUI-CARE and BMJ Publishing Group.

Duration: from 2023 to 2024,  extended for 2025 (expired on 31/12/2025).

Benefit: full APC coverage (no cost for the authors).

Eligible journals: all hybrid journals incuded in the BMJ Standard Collection and all fully open access journals. See the document below.

Additional information
Number of articles: unlimited for hybrid journals, limited for fully open access journals. After reaching the limit, costs will be charged to authors.
Eligible articles: original research articles.
Licences: CC BY, CC BY-NC.
Corresponding author: affiliated with the University of Brescia. It is recommended to use the institutional email address.

NOTICE
The contract expired on 31/12/2025 and renewal negotiations are currently underway. At present, CRUI is awaiting guidance from BMJ Publishing Group regarding how open access publishing will be managed during this transitional phase. Until further notice, APC coverage under the contract should be considered suspended.
