Agreement: between CRUI-CARE and BMJ Publishing Group.

Duration: from 2023 to 2024,  extended for 2025 (expired on 31/12/2025).

Benefit: full APC coverage (no cost for the authors).

Eligible journals: all hybrid journals incuded in the BMJ Standard Collection and all fully open access journals. See the document below.

Additional information
Number of articles: unlimited for hybrid journals, limited for fully open access journals. After reaching the limit, costs will be charged to authors.
Eligible articles: original research articles.
Licences: CC BY, CC BY-NC.
Corresponding author: affiliated with the University of Brescia. It is recommended to use the institutional email address.

NOTICE
The contract expired on 31/12/2025 and renewal negotiations are currently underway. During this transitional phase, the publisher has decided to continue allowing open access publication with APC coverage for hybrid journals; however, requests for fully open access journals cannot be processed for the time being.
