DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
The Department of Medical and Surgical Specialties, Radiological Sciences and Public Health (DSMC) was established in 2012.
Among the principles that guided its foundation, a primary objective is the translation of advanced medical knowledge into clinical practice, in an optimal combination for clinical trials aimed at developing diagnostic techniques, innovative therapies, and prevention.
The highly multidisciplinary composition of the DSMC characterizes its educational activities—which encompass various medical-scientific fields—its scientific research, and its third mission activities, with the intent of strongly promoting integration between the different disciplines
