"Knowledge graphs are founded on the principle of applying a graph-based abstraction to data, and are now broadly deployed in scenarios that require integrating and extracting value from multiple, diverse sources of data at large scale. In this presentation, I will investigate the evolution of data quality issues from traditional structured data managed in relational databases to Knowledge Graphs. In particular, I will examine the nature of the relationship between Data Quality and several coordinates, such as the variety of data types, data sources and application domains. Consequently, a set of structural characteristics is identified and a systematization of the a posteriori correlation between them and quality dimensions is provided. I will provide techniques for the creation, enrichment, assessment, and refinement of knowledge graphs."
