The prehistory of Jordan and the Neolithic site of Tell Abu Suwwan

Maysoon Al Nahar is a distinguished archaeologist. She teaches in Amman, in the University of Jordan, where she is full professor in the Department of Archaeology of the School of Archaeology and Tourism, of which she was Dean in 2013-2017.

Her main scientific interests concern Archaeological survey and excavation methods and she especially deepened the Prehistoric settlements. For many years, she has been Director of the Archaeological Museum and Heritage Museum, Institute of Archaeology, University of Jordan.
