The University of Brescia has stipulated an agreement with the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University to establish a cooperation to promote and encourage scientific and academic collaboration for a sustainable and peaceful development.

This collaboration will take many forms:

  • Exchange of students
  • Exchange of researchers
  • Joint research activities and publications
  • Exchange of academic information and materials in the fields of common interests

The main fields of interest of this exchange are:

  • Biotechnologies and Bioengineering
  • Economics and Business

  • Physical Culture and Human Health

Chernivtsi National University is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in Ukraine, established in 1875 by the Decree of the Austrian Emperor Franz-Joseph. Like the University of Brescia, the University of Chernivtsi is an Associated University of the UNITA European  University, coordinated by the University of Turin.
Counting 1.316 faculty members and 16.817 between undergraduates, specialists, M.A. students and PhD/Doctoral Program, Chernivtsi National University includes 11 faculties and 2 institutes ranging from Biology, Chemistry and Bioresources to Architecture, Civil Engineering, Applied and Decorative Arts, from Law to Philosophy and Theology.
