The University supports researchers in the process of commercialising scientific results, promoting the transfer of knowledge towards practical applications and fostering collaboration with the business sector.

In particular, the University of Brescia carries out the following activities:

• commercialisation of research results and support for technology transfer processes;
• protection of intellectual property and support for patenting procedures;
• management and support of licensing activities for the commercialisation of research findings and assistance with the creation of spin-offs;
• promotion of collaborations with businesses for the joint development of research and innovation projects;
• scouting activities and the promotion of a culture of intellectual property within the academic community.
