The Professional Bachelor's Degree Program with Licensing in Industrial Product and Process Technologies, offered by the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (DIMI) at the University of Brescia, is a three-year program (180 ECTS credits) designed for students who wish to enter the workforce quickly with strong technical and operational skills.

It was born from the collaboration between the university, local businesses, and trade associations, with the aim of training professionals who, thanks to their specific skills, can effectively enter the job market, especially within the regional industrial context..

What are the differences compared to a traditional three-year degree?

It is a three-year degree program which, compared to traditional bachelor's degrees, requires that one third of the credits be earned through classroom instruction, one third through laboratory activities, and one third through internships. During the course of study, by passing a specific exam, the student directly obtains qualification for registration in the register of Graduate Industrial Experts.

It is a more practice-oriented degree path, designed to facilitate direct entry into the workforce rather than access to a master's degree. If one wishes to continue studying, an additional bridging program will be required.
