From Wednesday, September 9, through Friday, September 11, the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the Università di Brescia will host the 41st National Conference of the Italian Metallurgical Association (AIM). The event, which this year coincides with the 80th anniversary of the association’s founding, is one of the leading national gatherings dedicated to research, innovation, and technology in the field of metallurgy, and will bring together over 250 researchers, professors, professionals, and industry representatives.
The conference program addresses the key challenges facing the sector today—from sustainability and decarbonization to the circular economy, from traditional to innovative metallic materials and their characterization, to the digitization of production processes—with the aim of fostering dialogue among research institutions, universities, and industry.
