On Saturday, June 28, at 7 p.m. at Campo Marte, the ninth edition of "Ad Maiora! Graduation Party," the graduation ceremony of the University of Brescia.

More than 900 students are registered for this year's ceremony, which is open to master's and bachelor's degree recipients a.y. 2023/2024.

The ceremony will be accompanied by the Chorus Universitatis Brixiae conducted by Maestro Silvio Baracco.

Representing all master's degree recipients from the University of Brescia, 50 graduates and graduates chosen from among those who have merited honors, based on a general criterion of representativeness of all master's degree recipients a.y. 2022/2024, will take the stage for the awarding of diplomas.

The ceremony, inspired by the Anglo-Saxon tradition of Commencement Day, will be introduced by the procession of toured faculty and the 50 commended graduates, which will start from the Rector's Office in Market Square.

Also this year, the University of Brescia and the Alumni Association will celebrate the Graduation Anniversary of the University's graduates who received their degrees in the year 1985.

Closing the ceremony will be the traditional throwing of the academic touch, a metaphor for the transmission of knowledge that symbolically spreads like rain from above and becomes the heritage of the entire community.
