The International Conference RePol 2025 - From research to policy: wellbeing and social integration of persons in vulnerable groups. Focus on young Roma, migrants and refugees will be held on November 7th, 2025 in Timișoara, Romania
In contemporary societies, the integration and well-being of persons from vulnerable groups, particularly young Roma, migrants, and refugees, have emerged as pressing concerns. The increasing migration flows, socio-economic disparities, and persistent discrimination need evidence-based policies to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for
disadvantaged communities.
Policies addressing the well-being of vulnerable groups need to draw from rigorous research to ensure that they are effective, inclusive, and sustainable.
This conference aims to foster the exchange of information, experiences, innovative ideas, research results, as well as to develop policy recommendations addressed to increasing wellbeing and of social integration of youngsters in vulnerable groups, with a focus on Roma, migrants and refugees.
The conference is organized within the project „When Scars (!) Become Art”, funded by JUGEND für Europa, within the Erasmus+ Programme KA2 Strategic Partnership, contract no 2023-1-DE04-KA220-YOU-000166967.
